Hourly Rate: $60.00 - $65.00/Hr.

We have an exciting contract opportunity with a leading Medical Diagnostic Device Manufacturer.

Summary:
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support and sustain instrument manufacturing activities, ensuring efficient operations within the production environment. This role involves assisting in all aspects of electronic design, from initial feasibility to manufacturing release for next-generation diagnostic equipment. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise in schematic design, analysis, debugging, and PCB layout, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful design, development, testing, and implementation of product and process changes. The goal is to optimize existing processes to achieve established production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve technical issues on the production floor.
• Support the non-conformity process by identifying root causes of part failures and coordinating corrective actions.
• Identify and manage quality issues across multiple departments.
• Complete change management activities to introduce changes to the production floor.
• Define, review, and verify (BOM) structures, assembly instructions, and test procedures.
• Assist senior engineers in the development and implementation of technical solutions.
• Use problem-solving tools to address issues and provide effective solutions.
• Ensure quality deliverables by adhering to design practices and departmental procedures.
• Communicate effectively with purchasing, supply chain, and quality teams.
• Document investigations and route them for approval.
• Explain technical concepts in a non-technical manner.
• Familiarity with CAD programs (Altium , but other platforms acceptable).

Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proven ability to design and troubleshoot electronic systems.
• Proficiency in project software (MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of quality systems.

Estimated Min Rate: $60.00
Estimated Max Rate: $65.00
