Role Overview
This role offers a unique opportunity to design a wide range of educational facilities, including laboratories, student centers, athletic facilities, and more. As a mid-level Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead design efforts that encompass field verification, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and preparation of construction documents. You’ll contribute to innovative designs that shape the future of education.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design projects, including medium voltage, power distribution, lighting systems, lighting controls, and fire alarms.
- Oversee construction document preparation, permitting, and construction administration.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure cohesive and effective project outcomes.
- Conduct field verification to support design accuracy and feasibility.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience with Division of State Architecture (DSA) and municipal projects is .
