Job Description:

Integrated Machinery Solutions is a heavy industrial equipment manufacturer located in Azle, TX. We specialize in the design and manufacture of material handling equipment, primarily in the overhead crane market. IMS is currently looking for a full-time Electrical Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed electrical specifications, schematics, and production drawings for overhead crane equipment using computer-assisted drafting (AutoCAD/Solidworks) software.
• Review customer schematics and specifications to ensure conformance with electrical codes and design requirements.
• Generate detailed Bill of Materials for electrical designs.
• Assist in troubleshooting and provide technical support for electrical components.
• Develop standard electrical design procedures, templates, and documents.
• Collaborate with the mechanical engineering and manufacturing groups.
• Work with the basic features of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 2-8 years of applicable in the field of electrical schematic layout & design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for detailing electrical schematics and drawings.
• Extensive knowledge of electric motors and motor drives.

Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently, with minimum supervision, and as part of a team.
• Must be organized and have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

Overhead crane design experience or VFD crane controls experience

• Knowledge of hoist and crane industry standards and regulations (e.g., CMAA).

Experience with Solidworks or similar 3D CAD programs
