Electrical Engineer III
Job Description We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic Electrical Engineering team. This role will be pivotal in designing and maintaining electrical circuits, systems, and equipment, with a particular focus on power systems, electric service and supply systems, and lighting systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a passion for electrical engineering, with a focus on creating innovative, reliable, and efficient solutions. Responsibilities: Electrical Installations Design: Designing and planning of electrical systems for various types of infrastructure, including buildings, water treatment facilities, and industrial installations. Electrical Calculations: Perform detailed electrical calculations for installations such as power distribution, lighting, emergency power systems, and fire alarm systems. 3D BIM Modeling: Utilize Revit to create 3D BIM models of electrical systems, adhering to all Levels of Development (LOD). Specialized Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical input for studies, designs, and technical assessments within the electrical engineering field. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary project reviews to ensure cohesive and fully integrated designs. Quality Control: Conduct quality control reviews of electrical designs, calculations, and drawings to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability. Technical Specifications: Prepare and manage technical specification sections related to electrical systems, ensuring they meet project requirements. Budget and Schedule Management: Assist in the preparation of engineering budgets and schedules to align with project goals. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in electrical design for building projects. Proficiency with at least one engineering modeling/drafting software. Advanced command of English, both written and spoken. Preferred: Proficiency in Revit MEP. Experience working with Common Data Environment platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC). Familiarity with clash detection software.
