Must be registered as an Engineer ( in the province of Saskatchewan or have the ability to transfer Canadian PEng from another province. Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required. 8 years of engineering experience, preferably in supporting consulting projects for mining, metallurgical or similar process industries. Knowledge of CSA and IEEE standards including the Canadian Electrical Code and Saskatchewan Amendments, and how to apply them to designs. Experience as a project discipline lead overseeing a team of technical professionals and managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and design of electrical projects. Effective communication, organization and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume and deadline-driven environment. Must have the ability to balance the workload in order to meet multiple deadlines. Everyday use of Navisworks, Microsoft Word and Excel. Team player, but also able to work independently and take responsibility. Other Skills considered assets: Knowledge and experience in construction Familiarity using power system software to perform calculations (. ETAP).
