Your role will be to lead a team of electrical engineers, oversee the development of advanced packaging and processing machinery. Your focus will be on ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction by driving innovation and applying electrical engineering principles to create efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate work schedules for the electrical engineering team, including resource planning and task delegation.
Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Oversee design projects, ensuring that all milestones are met.
Develop electrical designs for core products and new projects, working in collaboration with various departments.
Collaborate with software engineers to develop PLC and PC programs for systems or machinery.
Troubleshoot electrical issues with machinery and systems, and communicate findings to the team.
Ensure compliance with UKCA, CE, and, ideally, UL standards for machinery.
Travel to customer and company sites as needed to support and develop equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
Idaelly withing the reigon of 8-10 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in machine design or manufacturing.
Knowledge of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and safety regulations BS EN ISO 13849 & BS EN (phone number removed):2018.
Experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens equipment.
Understanding of UL certification for control panels and safety circuit design.
Familiarity with safety system verification tools (Sistema).
Electrical Engineering tertiary qualifications.
Proven ability to manage and build teams.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
