Location: Hybrid – Onsite in Lake Park Florida 20%, remote 80%

*Job Overview:*

As the Engineering Manager you will play a pivotal role in guiding the engineering team to design and develop state-of-the-art electrical engineering solutions, focusing on Medium Voltage Transformers(500kVA), Low Voltage Switchboards(3000 kV), Medium Voltage Switchgear, and related components. Your extensive experience in electrical engineering, coupled with your leadership skills, will enable you to lead, mentor, and collaborate with a multinational team of engineers and designers to deliver high-quality, innovative products.

*Key Responsibilities:*

Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to the engineering team, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices.

*You must have In depth knowledge of NEC and IEEE Standards for Transformer, Switchboard Engineering and Design to be considered for this position.*

Lead, mentor, and develop a multinational team of engineers, designers and CAD/Eplan drafters fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

*Product Development:* Oversee the design, development, and testing of electrical engineering solutions, including Medium Voltage Transformers, Low Voltage Switchboards, and Medium Voltage Switchgear.

*Expertise Utilization:* Apply your in-depth knowledge of medium voltage transformers, low voltage switchboards, medium voltage switchgear, relays, power distribution engineering, CAD, distribution design, and related areas to drive innovation and quality.

*Project Oversight:* Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are executed on time and meet technical specifications.

*Cross-Functional Collaboration:* Collaborate closely with other departments such as manufacturing, sales, and quality assurance to ensure seamless product development and successful launches.

*Requirements:*

A Bachelors degree or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering plus 15 years progressive experience in leading Electrical Engineering teams ranging in size from 5-15 at the Managerial or Director level.

10 years experience in Engineering Team Management, with a proven track record successfully managing projects as related to Team, Technical Expertise in NEC and IEEE Standards for Substation, Transformer, switchgear engineering and Design.

AutoCAD and EPlan experience is highly desired.

A PE License in the state of Florida is desired but not required.

The ability to travel to Florida and be in out Corporate office at least 1 week a month.

The ability to travel to customer sites frequently and as required.

The ability to travel internationally to our suppliers.
