Electrical Field Service Tech / Some Travel

Job DescriptionJob Description

3 Phase AC power experience, including circuit breakers, contactors, VFDs, devices as well as relay logic, electronic, and microprocessor controls. Must be able to have great telephone skills to troubleshoot over the phone and be willing to travel 1 to 2 times per month.

We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to join our team as a Field Service Technician. As a Field Service Technician with our company, you travel to worksites and facilities to perform equipment startup, repairs, and inspections of our hardware. Our ideal candidate has a wide range of experience completing electrical repairs. You should also feel comfortable reading schematics and operating voltmeters and ammeters.

Field Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to perform startup and maintenance on equipment
• Perform tests and diagnostics to ensure equipment is in good working order
• Track startup, maintenance, and repairs in our company database

Field Service Technician Requirements and Qualifications

• Prior experience performing repairs on electrical equipment
• Thorough knowledge of our hardware and equipment after factory training
• Experience using common handheld meters
• Experience with diagnostic tools and software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
