JOB DESCRIPTION
Safely and confidently perform electrical work in small to large construction environments. Work independently and with crew.

POSITION SUMMARY

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Knowledge in all areas of the national electrical code.
• Install, perform, trouble shoot and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial applications.
• Plan and layout small and medium work projects from schematics, sketches, blueprints and/or verbal instructions.
• Ability to select the correct materials to complete work assignments.
• Proficient in establishing test procedures relative to lead requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
• Proficient in maintaining electrician's tools and equipment and company issued tools/materials.
• Coordinate and execute project on all indoor and outdoor electrical systems.
• Understand state and local building codes, and know OSHA, and other electrical regulations.
• Heavy lifting over 50 pounds, climbing ladders, enclosed spaces, etc.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years electrical installation & maintenance experience (Mechanic)
• Must be able to pass background check
• Must be able to pass drug screening regularly for all projects
• Must have valid driver’s license

Special Skills

• Extremely organize, smartphone & computer literate & savvy
• Great communication skills.
• Creatively performing, analyzing, and solving problems with various electrical controls and systems.
• Willingness to complete required courses for training and certifications
• Ability to work off- hours (day/evening/weekends)

• Use and enforce PPE requirements related to specific tasks being completed.
• Heavy lifting over 50 pounds, climbing ladders, enclosed spaces, etc.
• Fluent in English.
• Physically perform duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Have a valid driver's license
• Willingness to learn and grow in position
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass a Drug Screen
• Ability to maintain clean and safe work areas
• Have dependable transportation
• Have knowledge of material and proper use and installation
• Demonstrated experience & Success as a foreman/electrician
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to earn OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Ability to operate smartphone technology
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
