Job Description:

We’re seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Electrical General Foreman to join our team. This role involves managing heavy industrial electrical projects across various locations, with extensive travel required. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience overseeing projects with budgets of $5 million or more. If you have strong leadership skills, exceptional project layout abilities, and can effectively manage all aspects of electrical construction, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth execution.
• Oversee the activities of electricians and other site personnel, ensuring productivity and safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes at all times.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and progress reports.
• Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
• Maintain a valid electrical journeyman’s license as required by the role.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical General Foreman.
• Proven experience in managing projects with budgets of $5 million or more.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Thorough understanding of Division 500 in the Electrical Code (NEC).
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods (up to 18 months).
• Ability to provide references upon request.
• Union position: Candidate will be required to join the IBEW or be a member.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug test.
