Electrical Harness Engineer

About the role: Electrical wiring harness and systems design engineer to work on the Electric Tractor of an Agricultural product. Location: Livermore, CA Job Duties: Responsible for electrical designs for new product development machines and aftermarket configurations as well as supporting production maintenance issues Gather, prepare and understand design requirements and specifications Execute cabling, wiring and related electrical and electronic component designs within time, cost and quality targets Coordinate and monitor drawing and releasing tasks and workflow ensuring high quality designs are released on time Work with supplier to ensure correct component specifications are in place and resolve various supplier related issues Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 3 to 4 years of experience or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 1 to 2 years of experience Technical Skills Required: Proficiency and hands on experience in Solidworks 3D CAD tool Experience in product design & development of electrical installation systems and components Experience in cabling and harness design
