Functieomschrijving • Addressing the electrical and automation aspects of equipment for onshore, offshore, and subsea applications. • Collaborating with the design team to assess, advise, and consult on practical and safety-related aspects of the design. • Managing electrical wiring diagrams, electrical safety, and designing converters and motor control; completing technical upgrades and technical manuals. • Leading the execution of acceptance testing and validation, actively participating in field pilot projects. • Engaging with the operations department to address field-related issues. • Serving as part of the innovation 3rd line support, resolving complex issues related to both hardware and software and acting as the point of contact for the electrical aspects of the products. Functie-eisen • BSc. degree or higher in Electrical Engineering. • Familiarity with electrical safety standards (e.g., EN61010 and EN60945). • Experience with PLCs, designing control cabinets, and comfort working with low to high-power converters and motors. • Previous experience in a maritime/offshore environment is advantageous. • Fluent in English (both written and spoken). • Self-driven attitude, practical mindset, and a willingness to develop new skills.
