Position Overview

The Western Sugar Cooperative has an opportunity for an E&I Technician. This position is responsible for the maintenance of electronic and pneumatic process control equipment throughout the facility.

Essential Functions

• Be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated safety leadership
• Commitment to regular attendance
• Responsible for:
• Maintenance of electronic and pneumatic process control equipment
• Control valves and actuator repair
• Transmitter installation, calibration and repair (temperature, level, analytical, and pressure)
• Experienced in installation of air-line tubing and conduit
• Experienced in servicing of controllers
• Electrical experience working with voltage 24dc to 480ac and control power
• Working knowledge of PLC and I/O systems, components and troubleshooting
• Work within a rotating shift or shift operation

Skill & Experience Requirements

• Two year technical degree or equivalent experience required
• A strong maintenance background working with everything from small and intricate instruments to large control valves
• Basic understanding of multi-meter and testing equipment
• Proven trouble shooting skills and ability
• Willingness to clean and maintain a clean and safe Maintenance area
• Good oral and written communication skills
