Location: Stevenage (Relocation Package available)

Work Arrangement: 5 days per week on-site, due to workload classification

Salary: Up to £39,000 depending on experience

The Role:



We are looking for an Electrical Manufacturing Technician who will play a crucial role in the production, repair, and modification of our advanced products! Your adaptable skills will be tested as you apply your expertise across a range of responsibilities. This includes assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic components and systems to ensure they meet our rigorous standards.

From ensuring timely manufacturing build and inspection processes to maintaining impeccable workmanship standards and product quality, your keen eye for detail will be vital in delivering exceptional results. You will work closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and adhere to all safety and compliance protocols. Your dedication and precision will be essential in upholding the high standards our customers expect.



Key Responsibilities:



Carry out the production, repair, and modification of company products to meet defined build standards and specification requirements.

Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.

Be fully conversant with all equipment, tools, and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.

Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and where relevant, inspection times are met.

Check and complete all required manufacturing data requirements.

Maintain to the highest level workmanship standards and product quality.

Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.

Certify the product in line with the product certification procedure.

Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.

Maintain a safe working environment and a good housekeeping policy.

Share effective strategies with other team members.



What We're Looking for From You:



Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 is essential for this role.

Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent certificate is preferable.

Proven planning and organising skills.

Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Excellent collaborator who prioritises customer satisfaction.

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to gain UK government security clearance. To achieve this, you must hold British or dual .
