Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks, from installation to maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to fabricate and repair electrical components. The ideal candidate will have experience working with low and high voltage systems, as well as familiarity with industrial electrician practices. Additionally, proficiency with tools such as a multimeter, ohmmeter, and voltmeter is essential.

Must Have:

• 480 3-phase electrical
• Ability to read schematics
• Hydraulic machinery
• Troubleshoot control circuit boards
• Program/troubleshoot robotics
• Understand the basics of plumbing systems
• Mechanical ability to fabricate parts as needed
• Ability to work on various forklift machines
• Willingness to be part of the Maintenance team and work on machines and other tasks as assigned
• You will be assigned other basic maintenance duties outside the scope of the electrician
• Well-rounded "jack-of-all-trades" is ideal (mechanical, maintenance, electrical)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Analyzes and corrects electrical problems, repairs and overhauls electrical equipment and controls, installs and modifies electrical, production manufacturing and other plant equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• * Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams drawings and programs necessary to install, repair, calibrate or service electrical and electronic devices and PLC systems.
• Performs work that requires a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes and principles of operation of electrical equipment.
• * Starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with the OSHA safety procedures for machine activation andshut down.
• Fabricates parts required, if not commercially available, using hand tools and machine tools common to the trade.
• Advises/cautions other employees in and out of the maintenance department about potential electrical problems with equipment and inherent electrical hazards.
• Troubleshoots equipment failures independently or as part of a team assigned to the problem.
• Fabricates, assembles, and installs electrical equipment working from blueprints, facility layout, sketches, drawings or verbal instructions.
• Performs heavy electrical maintenance work which may involve climbing, rigging, and exposure to heat and chemicals.

* Such potential hazards may necessitate the use of specialized equipment such as harness, SCBA, respirator, dustmask and other personal protective clothing and equipment.* Participates in continuous improvement processes individually and with teams, and champions projects to improve cost, quality, and delivery.* Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies.* Coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members.* Attends appropriate team meetings.* Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues affecting cohesiveness.* Actively looks for ways and reinforce actions needed, in order to achieve synergy possible within the largerorganization.#ind1

• Participates as a member of the Maintenance Team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Electrical experience: 1 year (Required)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
