Contract Duration: Minimum of 12 months

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team for an exciting and challenging project. The successful candidate will work on a large-scale clean Water Treatment Works (WTW) based in Oswestry. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a significant infrastructure project, contributing to the enhancement of water treatment processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

·Lead and manage electrical engineering activities for the WTW project, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

·Oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components.

·Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, and process engineers.

·Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.

·Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and quality of work.

·Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

·Prepare and review project documentation, including technical specifications, reports, and drawings.

·Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

·Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

·Proven experience working on water or wastewater treatment projects is essential.

·Strong background in electrical engineering, with relevant qualifications.

·Demonstrable expertise in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects.

·Comprehensive understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to electrical engineering in the water sector.

·Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

·Proficient in using relevant engineering software and tools.

·Working knowledge of various conditions of  NEC contracts
