Electrical Project Engineer – St Albans



Temporary to Permanent after 3 months



Monday to Friday



£40k to £50k depending on experience



Day to day roles and responsibilities:



Oversee Projects from the receipt of the contract through to installation and commissioning

Manage all commercial and technical aspects of the projects

Communicate effectively with clients and their representatives

Attend site meetings with clients and their representatives to discuss project progress and resolve issues

Collaborate with suppliers to determine the suitability of electrical components for specific projects

Work closely with the company’s draughting engineers and production team to ensure project requirements are met

Ability to design electrical control schematic diagrams

The required electrical project engineer will require:



Proven experience in the design of LV switchgear and package sub stations

Familiarity with components such as protection relays and power factor correction equipment

Experience in designing electrical control and monitory systems

Ability to create and interpret electrical schematic diagrams

Ability to use CAD proficiently for electrical design purposes

Previous experience as an Electrical Project Engineer is a must
