Our client is a global leader in stainless steel, as a business they strive to employ people who are passionate about success and seek to inspire others in their working environment.\nAt their site in Sheffield they are requiring a skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join their dynamic and hardworking team on a permanent basis.\n\nTHE ROLE: \nTo effectively deliver projects within the business, As Electrical Project Engineer you will play a crucial role in within their team, and your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring project success, meeting deadlines and maintaining the highest standards of quality. Managing multiple projects, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations to deliver solutions that contribute towards business success. \nDevelopment and modernisation of the plant to ensure availability, reliability and performance targets are met.\n\nTHE MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:\nThe design, development, and delivery of electrical based projects, providing technically sound engineering solutions \nPlanning and co-ordinating electrical engineering operations during plant shutdowns inclusive of major maintenance activities.

\nAct as a subject matter expert for all new equipment, use in-depth knowledge to solve difficult engineering failures and improve plant reliability. \nNegotiating and managing key electrical contracts. \nLiaising with external suppliers and contractors to provide solutions to production and engineering challenges.

\nAccountable for budgeting, forecasting, and receiving competitive quotes for all work to be undertaken. \nDevelopment of plant to improve performance and reliability. \nProviding the necessary documentation to cover all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Control inclusive of Permit Systems, Safe Working Procedures, Isolation/Immobilisation and Environmental Management Systems etc.

\nUnderstanding and interpreting drawing and specifications to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and problems as they arise. \nCollaborate with cross functional teams to define project requirements and objectives. \nParticipate in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to provide updated on project status.
