Electrical Project Engineer

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Engineer on behalf of a Civil Engineering & Construction main contractor to work on Water Treatment Works upgrade schemes around West & South Yorkshire.\n\nThe projects range from £5m to £10m+ and are all being delivered as part of Yorkshire Water AMP 7&8 meaning likelihood of a steady flow of work until 2030. The projects involve a great deal of Mechanical & Electrical components on large scale alongside the Civils work hence the need to grow the dedicated Electrical team further.\n\nOne of the largest names in infrastructure with industry-leading training schemes and unmatched career opportunities on offer...\n\nDuties/Responsibilities include:\n\n * Working with project deliver team to oversee delivery of Electrical aspects on site\n\n * ECI works (Early Contractor Involvement)\n\n * Ordering materials\n\n * Involvement with commissioning process alongside Commissioning Engineers & Managers\n\n * Produce & review H&S documentation including RAMS and PMP's\n\n * Liaison with design team to develop best solutions\n\n * Prepare sub-contractor orders & assist with submission & evaluation of claims for work variations\n\nExperience required:\n\n * Must have experience working in relevant field as Electrical Project Engineer or Electrical Design Engineer with some site exposure.\n\n * Ideally have Water industry experience - Water Treatment Works etc.\n\n * Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree).\n\n * Must hold: CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and full driving license.\n\nRemuneration:\n\nA salary of up to £60,000 (dependant upon experience) plus: car/car allowance, annual leave scheme, 6% pension, fuel scheme, healthcare and other benefits
