JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • This company is seeking a qualified Electrical Project Engineer (or Senior Designer) to join our team and work alongside other professional and talented engineers, designers, and support staff. The company has evolved over the past 29 years, we have expanded our services to include Facilities Condition Assessments, Enclosure Consulting, Commissioning & Retro-Cx, Transportation, Municipal, and Site Civil Engineering. In addition, The company has developed an extensive project portfolio portraying our work in 47 states on a variety of project types. This company has grown tremendously over the years, but the one thing that has not changed is the constant drive to provide quality documents and satisfied clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • All facets of electrical design implementation of the following: lighting, lighting controls, normal power systems, standby/emergency power systems, one-line/riser diagrams, arc flash analysis, short-circuit studies, utility coordination, equipment selection and specifications, comprehensive electrical system design and layout, field investigation and observation, and construction administration.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, E.I.T./P.E. Registration ().
  • 6+ years of project experience (10+ years for non-degreed).
  • Demonstrated technical expertise for all major electrical systems, industry-related codes, standards, and guidelines.
  • Active participation in industry related organizations for technical and professional development.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word – Excel - Outlook), SKM (or EasyPower), Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.

  • Providing guidance to less experienced engineers and designers and communicating clearly in both verbal and written forms.
