We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical Service Manager to join our team. As an Electrical Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and ensuring smooth operation and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using hand tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
- Excellent customer service, leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Service Manager, Strong knowledge of logic controllers, electrical schematics, NEC standards, and safety regulations.
- 10+ years of experience in the residential and commercial electrical industry.
- 5+ years of management experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret bid documents accurately..
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Clean Driver’s License.
Responsibilities:
- Manage teams of electrical service technicians and their schedule.
- Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
- Provide technical support for field service technicians.
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely completion of all service projects within scope and within budget.
- Develop and implement project strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple electrical projects.
- Analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
- Perform estimating duties for labor and material cost for routine service proposals.
- Review and approve service estimates and customer contract documents.
- Assist in the review, negotiations, and execution of all subcontract agreements as needed.
- Create strategic business development plans that will ensure the continued growth of the department.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Develop comprehensive project plans.
Job Type: Full-time.
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week.

May work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Employees will be exposed to moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones, printers, and light traffic). May be requested to work overtime, nights, and weekends. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
