Electrical Site Engineer

On behalf of our client, a top-tier company in the energy and metallurgy industry, we are seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to oversee and execute electrical installations and maintenance at various project sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and excellent project management skills. Responsibilities: Manage and supervise electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budget, and schedule. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to plan and execute electrical installations effectively. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets industry standards and regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that may arise during construction, implementing solutions promptly to minimize project delays. Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation and wiring processes accurately. Collaborate with the design team to provide input during the pre-construction phase and address any design-related concerns. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all electrical work performed on-site, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety among all personnel involved in the project. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Any relevant working experience would be considered an asset. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, componets and codes. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Commitment to safety and compliance. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to relocate.
