Electrical Site Supervisor

Company Overview:

Our client is a leading Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Contractor, seeking an Electrical Supervisor for a prestigious commercial project. This 6-month contract opportunity focuses on the installation and management of electrical systems within a high-end commercial fit-out, such as offices or retail spaces. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with technical expertise and a dedication to maintaining high standards of quality.

Role Summary:

As the Electrical Supervisor, you will be integral to the successful execution of this commercial project. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will oversee all electrical work on-site, manage subcontractors, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and ensure timely project completion. You will also troubleshoot technical challenges, monitor progress, and ensure that work meets the highest quality standards.

Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure seamless and efficient project delivery.

* Supervise and coordinate all electrical activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications.

* Effectively manage subcontractors, ensuring their work meets the specified project standards and timelines.

* Regularly assess the quality of work carried out by both in-house teams and subcontractors.

* Implement and enforce Quality Assurance (QA) procedures to maintain high standards of work.

* Proactively resolve technical issues to avoid project delays and ensure continuity of work.

* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Electrical Supervisor Requirements:

* SSSTS or SMSTS certification (or equivalent).

* Familiarity with QA software, preferably Fieldview, for monitoring and reporting progress.

* Strong background in electrical engineering or a related field, with a recognized qualification.

* Proven experience working on high-end commercial fit-out projects.

* Demonstrated leadership skills, particularly in a supervisory or management capacity.

* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
