we’re looking for a dedicated Electrical Supervisor to manage and oversee the electrical installations and maintenance for an exciting new commercial project. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team and ensure the smooth execution of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage all electrical work on-site, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems (lighting, power, wiring, distribution, and other electrical infrastructure).
* Oversee the day-to-day activities of electrical teams and subcontractors, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project specifications.
* Coordinate with the project manager, engineers, and other site supervisors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other trades.
* Review electrical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure proper execution of electrical systems.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and progress, addressing any issues as they arise.
* Ensure that all electrical installations are completed in compliance with local codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of electrical work completed, including materials used and project progress.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues or challenges on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
* Ensure that electrical work is completed within budget and report any variations or discrepancies to the project manager.
* Provide leadership and training to electrical team members, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
* Assist in the coordination and delivery of electrical equipment and materials to the site.
Requirements:
* GOLD ECS CARD
* SSSTS / SMSTS
* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar role in a commercial construction environment.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, testing, and commissioning.
* Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and building standards.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
* Previous experience working on large-scale commercial projects is highly .
