Electrical Supervisor / QC

Job Description

Our client is a Brighton based electrical firm with an expanding team and workload in the pipeline. They are looking for a Electrical Qualifying Supervisor for long term / permenant work.\n\n * Salary: £40k - £45k\n\n * Based: 4 days office, 1 day site.\n\n * Brighton – East Sussex\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Electrical Certification: Complete and sign off electrical certifications from engineers on site, ensuring results are correctly recorded on appropriate certificates or reports and compliant with BS7671.\n\n * Client and Management Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients and management regarding certification progress, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\n * NICEIC Certification: Produce and sign off NICEIC certifications and other required test data following work undertaken by engineers using Easycert software.\n\n * Audit and Inspection: Ensure the business’s premises, equipment, documentation, and records are available for inspection by the NICEIC, and help oversee the annual audit process with the NICEIC auditor.\n\n * Field Supervision: Meet with engineers in the field to ensure high standards of testing, identifying and addressing any non-compliances.\n\n * Supervision Reports: Undertake QS inspection audits and visits for existing engineers, producing detailed supervision reports.\n\n * Meetings and Surveys: Attend toolbox talks, site meetings, and surveys as required.\n\n * Equipment Calibration: Ensure all company and sub-contractor equipment is calibrated and has valid certificates.\n\n * Company Representation: Represent the company during site and off-site meetings.\n\n * MS Office Proficiency: Demonstrate good knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.\n\nQualifications & Experience Required:\n\n * BS7671 18th Edition Amendment 2\n\n * 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing\n\n * AM2 and NVQ Level 3\n\n * Experience in inspection and testing\n\n * Experience in certification\n\nWhy Join\n\n * Be part of a dynamic and growing team.\n\n * Engage in diverse and challenging projects.\n\n * Opportunities for professional growth and development.\n\n * Competitive salary and benefits package
