Are you a qualified Electrical Technician looking for a new challenge?\n\nTEXO Recruitment are seeking talented individuals to join one of our client’s dynamic electrical team located in Newcastle Upon Tyne on a permanent basis.\n\nAs an Electrical Technician you will be part of the electrical team working on a wide range of tasks and sub-assemblies. You will apply your skills to build, but not limited to, control systems, power systems, subsea assemblies (e.g. pods, valve packs, junction boxes, etc) & harnessing of subsea vehicles.\n\nArea(s) of Responsibility:\n\n * Panel wiring of small accurate components following electrical schematics.\n\n * Work to allocated tasks in line with the Production MPS\n\n * Be involved in and instigate Continuous improvement activities.\n\n * Task Risk Assessments\n\n * Any occupational tasks / objectives or assigned duties as directed by the Line Manager\n\n * Maintain quality standards within the build\n\n * Maintain excellent relations with team and colleagues\n\n * Remain flexible\n\n * Contribute to Continuous Improvement whenever possible\n\nQualifications, Skills & Experience\n\n * Good working knowledge of panel wiring & control panels working to electrical drawings HNC or equivalent experience\n\n * Experience working in a continuous improvement environment\n\n * Ability to recognise and work to meet pre-determined deadlines, production schedule\n\n * Possess an understanding of the requirements for the correct assembly of all electrical assemblies and subassemblies, as well as experience stripping, crimping, and terminating all cables including umbilicals.\n\n * Team player\n\n * Proactive attitude\n\n * Health & Safety Driven\n\n * Flexibility\n\n * Ability and willingness to learn\n\nTo be considered or for any further information please contact either David or Callum on the contact information below or APPLY NOW
