Essential Duties/Responsibilities as follows, other duties may be assigned.
· Must understand/demonstrate all safety requirements. May need to attend customer training.
· Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical schematics and standards.
· Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
· Test electrical systems using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and megohmmeters.
· Critically think to effectively troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
· Identify and install necessary replacement parts in accordance with the Electric Code.
· Complete paperwork such as timesheets, job orders, and checklists.
· Maintain/Operate truck and trailer in accordance with all DOT regulations including vehicle inspection reports.
· Travel may be required to customer field locations 50% of the time.
· Field service work may include the need to operate a manual or motorized boat, and deploying heavy power cables, mooring lines and floats across ponds.
· Experience in VFD and PLC programming a plus.
Competency:

• Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory, as well as the ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3 phase motor control systems.
• Strong knowledge of and utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for electrical work.

Education/Experience:
Associate degree or equivalent vocational-training or experience .
Travel:
Must have a clean and current driver’s license. Must have a US passport or ability to obtain one.
Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret simple as-built drawings.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
