This role requires experience with PLCs, motor controls, heavy machinery, and electrical circuits up to 480V. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and efficient operations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, motor controls, SCR systems, and AC servo systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues using wiring diagrams and test equipment.
• Maintain and inspect electrical systems for reliability.
• Perform machine repairs and support plant operations.
• Follow safety guidelines and participate in Continuous Improvement Programs.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience (forging equipment experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of motor controls, schematics, and test equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot control systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Journeyman License .
• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Additional Information

• Shift: 1st Shift (5:00 AM start time)
• Physical Requirements: Standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., exposure to a production environment
• Safety: PPE required, compliance with health and safety policies
