Electrical Technician
For over 20 years James Lewis Ltd has provided a wide variety of engineering services to the major Bus & Coach operators and manufacturers throughout the UK.
We have varied projects with multiple clients throughout the UK and are looking for experienced & flexible engineers who are able to adapt to the diverse nature of our work.

Salary: £17.99 per hour
Shift: Mon- Fri (40 hrs p/wk.)

Duties to include:
Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
Carry out vehicle servicing.
Be fully conversant with the diagnosis and repair of vehicle High Voltage electrical systems including, electronic braking, suspension, electronic destinations, multiplex wiring systems and E.C.U.
Be fully familiar with all relevant diagnostic equipment including multi meters, temperature gauges, micrometres, vernier gauges and E.C.U. diagnostic computer equipment.
Be able to coach and mentor apprentices, and pass knowledge on to your engineering colleagues.
We'll provide your overalls (PPE).
About You:
* Must be Mechanical/Electrical NVQ Level 3 qualified.
* Must be able to obtain PCV Licence (we will help towards this)
* Must have full cat b driving licence.
* Minor Body Repair Skills advantageous but not essential.
* Must have or be willing to train to IMI level 3 and 4 High Voltage qualifications (we provide the training)
