Electrical Testing Engineer

Job Description Job Title: Electrical Testing Engineer Experience: Minimum 5+ Years Salary: ₹150,000 per month Location: Saudi Arabia Key Responsibilities: Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues during testing and commissioning phases. Develop and execute detailed testing procedures, protocols, and documentation. Conduct insulation resistance tests, dielectric tests, and other advanced testing techniques for electrical systems. Collaborate with design and project teams to identify and resolve technical discrepancies. Prepare detailed test reports, documenting test results, observations, and recommendations. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards during testing activities. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors for successful commissioning and handover of projects. Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians. Stay updated on advancements in electrical testing equipment and techniques. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical testing and commissioning. Proficient knowledge of international electrical standards and codes, such as IEC and IEEE. Skills Required: Expertise in testing equipment such as megohmmeters, circuit analyzers, and relay test sets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing electrical faults. Proficiency in preparing detailed testing protocols and technical documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with SCADA, PLC systems, and control panels is a plus. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to electrical work.
