Job Description

Job Title: Day Shift Electrician\n\nLocation: Edinburgh\n\nSalary: £36,000\n\nWorking Hours: 8am – 4pm with a 30-minute break (Total of 37.5 hours per week)\n\nJob Type: Full-Time\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Perform electrical installations, maintenance\n\n * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and accurately.\n\n * Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety standards.\n\n * Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment.\n\n * Collaborate with other team members and provide support as needed.\n\n * Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n * Qualified Electrician with relevant certification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2330/2357 or equivalent).\n\n * Proven experience in electrical maintenance and installation.\n\n * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.\n\n * Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.\n\n * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n\n * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\n * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience working on a variety of electrical projects.\n\n * Familiarity with modern electrical testing equipment.\n\n * Additional certifications or training in specialized areas of electrical work.\n\nBenefits:\n\n * Competitive salary of £36,000 per annum.\n\n * Regular working hours with a consistent day shift.\n\n * Opportunity for professional development and further training.\n\n * Supportive and collaborative work environment.\n\nHow to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a cover letter outlining their relevant experience and qualifications to Dominic @ Invictus
