Job Description

I am recruiting an experienced Electrician to complete a wide variety of industrial electrical installations, testing, and commissioning tasks for my client based in the Whitby area.This role is crucial in ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient electrical operations on-site, working closely with the Electrical Chargehand.
Competitive salary - up to £39K depending on experience 
Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.00pm, Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm
Key Responsibilities:

• \nElectrical Installation: Install wiring and electrical equipment (24vDC Wiring) to the highest standards. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and manufacturer specifications.

• \nTesting & Commissioning: Perform electrical testing, functional checks, and commissioning of installed equipment to ensure everything operates safely and correctly.

\n

• \nSite Maintenance: Maintain site equipment, machinery, and provide power supplies for all trades.

\n

• \nHealth & Safety: Actively participate in health and safety initiatives. Report and resolve safety issues, ensuring compliance with all H&S standards.

\n

• \nProductivity & Efficiency: Work closely with the Electrical Chargehand to meet work targets. Continuously look for ways to improve methods, processes, and equipment efficiency.
