Electrician\nStevenage\nUp To £30,000\nKey Responsibilities:\n 1. Support the Service Department in the repair and maintenance of hire fleet and customers' equipment.\n 2. Ensure a high quality of service and equipment to achieve complete customer satisfaction.\nAs a Electrician, you will be required to\nCarry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customers' equipment.\nPerform fault location, diagnosis, and rectification to hire fleet and customers' equipment.\nPrepare equipment for hire.\nInstall and disconnect equipment on-site (synchronising where appropriate).\nInstall and commission power to temporary site accommodation (wiring in where appropriate).\nLoad and unload vehicles.\nParticipate in call-out rota system.\nCarry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by your direct Line Manager or the Management Team.\nMaintain tidy work areas through general housekeeping.\nComplete and submit all company paperwork as per procedure.\nSafeguard all company assets; ensure nothing leaves the depot without correct paperwork.\nEnsure cleanliness and serviceability of company vehicles or any occasional loan vehicles.\nPromote teamwork and cooperation across the Company.\nTreat all employees and customers with professionalism and respect.\nAct in the best interests of the company.\nFollow safe working practices and adhere to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental guidelines (ISO 9001:14001 and OHSAS 18001).\nContribute proactively to the company’s policy of continuous improvement.\nCarry out any other ad-hoc duties as required.\nCandidate:\n * \n * Flexibility as the job may involve unsociable hours\n * Good communication skills and ability to connect naturally with people\n * Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative or as part of a team\n * Timely and effective completion of work\n * Ability to follow company policies and procedures\n * Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions\nQualifications/Skills Required:\n * High school or equivalent\n * 18th Edition\n * Electrical Certification Level 2 or 3\n * ECS Gold Card\n * C&G 2391 Inspecting Testing\n * Apprenticeship\n * AM2\nExperience Required:\n * Experience with generators/plant equipment/heavy engineering (or similar)\nDoes this sound like something you want to be a part of?
