Electrician

MPC Resourcing are looking to place an electrician between Paisley and Ayr, carrying out various jobs and selected testing works on University campuses.

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Ayr and Paisley sites

Work Schedule: Back Shifts, Monday- Friday.

Responsibilities:

* Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks at various locations.

* Will be carrying out testing work- 2391 would be desired but not a necessity.

* Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.

* Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.

* Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects on schedule.

* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

* Adhere to company policies and procedures for quality and safety.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.

* Gold ECS card

* Valid electrical license or certification.

* Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.

* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

* Willingness to travel between Ayr and Paisley sites as needed.
