Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes

​​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• * Install and maintained electrical equipment
• * Install and repaired electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, fixtures, wall sockets, plugs, switches.
  * Test electrical circuits
  * Use test devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ammeters, test lamps.
  * Plan layout and installation of electrical systems
  * Inspect electrical systems
  * Identify and repaired malfunctions
  * Install and connected wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, electrical components, electrical systems.
  * Clean and maintain tools, machine parts, electrical components.
  * Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, specs, electrical schematics, building plans, manuals, system schematics, PLC logic diagrams, procedures.
  * Know standard computations for load requirements
  * Operate equipment such as man-lift.
  * Comply with all local codes, NEC, safety procedures, OSHA, EPA, waste handling rules, job specs.
  * Experience with control panels, switch gears.
  * Wear protective gear such as hard hat, safety glasses, boots, safety vest.
  * Own to use my own standard tools
  * Maintain neat and orderly work environment
  * Use tools such as grinders, power hand tools, cable reels, lathes, stripping tools, meters, cable cutters, drill press.
