Electrician

Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction and maintenance company in Hull. As one of the region’s leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors, they employ around 500 staff and generate an annual turnover of £50 million. With ambitious growth plans in place, they are looking to expand their skilled workforce.



The Role



This role focuses on electrical work within domestic properties, carrying out a variety of tasks, including:



* General electrical repairs and maintenance.



* Full and partial rewires, refurbishments, and electrical infrastructure upgrades in both occupied and vacant properties.



* Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).



* Installation and upgrading of smoke alarm systems.



* Fault finding and repairs.



* Electrical installations for new contracts.



Skills & Qualifications



To be considered for this role, you should have:



* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installations.



* 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.



* AM2 or equivalent.



* 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable).



* CSCS Card (desirable).



* Full UK driving licence.



Salary & Benefits



* Basic salary: £39,817 per annum



* Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).



* Pension: Defined benefit pension scheme with employer contributions of approximately 18.5%.



* Holidays: 21 days per year, plus 8 bank holidays (rising to 26 days after 5 years’ service).



* Attendance bonus: £600 per year for zero sickness absence (paid bi-annually).



* Call-out standby pay: £700 per full week on rota.



* Overtime: Paid at premium rates.



* Productivity bonus scheme.
