Tradesmen International is immediately hiring Commercial Electricians for projects located in the Ruther Glen, VA area. This is a first shift opportunity working Monday through Friday with anticipated overtime and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience. Job Scope:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial settings
• Route, wire, assemble, and electronic components such as terminal boxes, and main control switch panels.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment
• Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions
• Measuring, cutting, bending, and installing electrical EMT conduit pipe/cable tray and pulling wiring through conduit or laying cable in cable tray.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
  
  

Responsibilities

• Must Pass Drug Screen & Background Check
• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Electrician
• Proficiency in using tools such as logic controllers, hand tools, ohmmeters, and voltmeters
• OSHA 10 Certification; TI does offer course to qualified employees
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems
• Familiarity with 3-4-way switches
