Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Electricians of All Skill Levels for projects located in the Rochester, NY area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Journeyman or Apprentice and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Install switches, lights, plugs, and various conduit types (EMT, RMC, IMC, RNC, LMFT,
  Flex, MC cable)
• Work with motor controls, switchgear, security systems, and fire alarms
• Install panels, fixtures, and perform troubleshooting
• Manage wire ways, troughs, cable trays, and high voltage systems
• Lay, run, and bend conduit
• Install lighting fixtures, receptacles, CAT5 whips for lighting controls, and lighting control devices
• Perform installations according to planned layouts and local codes
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
• Inspect electrical systems for hazards or defects
• Test electrical systems using devices like ohmmeters and voltmeters

Responsibilities

• 3+ years of experience
• Competence in electrical installation and troubleshooting
• Understanding of local electrical codes
