Job Overview



We are looking for a skilled Electrical Fitter with expertise in both high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance at all times. Key Responsibilities



Installation:

- Install and configure HV and LV wiring, circuits, switchgear, transformers, control panels, switchboards, and distribution boards.

- Interpret and follow blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.



Maintenance and Repair:

- Conduct routine maintenance on HV and LV electrical systems.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.

- Replace or repair defective components to ensure optimal system performance.



Testing and Inspection:

- Test electrical systems to confirm functionality and safety.

- Inspect installations to ensure they meet regulatory codes and safety standards.

- Document and report any issues discovered during inspections.



Safety and Compliance:

- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

- Participate in regular safety training sessions to stay updated on best practices.



Qualifications and Certifications



- Competent Person certification

- APSD - Authorised Person Safety Documents - LV R3 - Ground Mounted Plant

- APSA - Authorised Person Substation Access – DV

- APSD - Authorised Person Safety Documents – DV

- AWP-06 - LV Distribution Board Live Work

- AWP-08 - Transformer LV Bars and ACB Work

- AWP-09 - Electrotechnical Work in Panels
