Job Title: Electrician****\n\nLocation: Portsmouth. (Shift allowance of 33% may be applicable)****\n\n****\n\nWhat you’ll be doing:\n\n * ReadingInterpreting Electrical Drawings, MDS and Guidance information\n * Carrying out Electrical Testing on 12v, 24v, 110v, 240v & 440v systems\n * Executing various crimping techniques and soldering\n * Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and defect rectification in accordance with the project schedules to meet customer quality expectations\n * Installation, testing and maintenance of communications equipment such as VHF radios, Intercom, GPS, and AIS\n * Fault diagnosis and defect rectification\n * Carrying out detailed inspections and be fully conversant in the use of all measuring equipment’s\n * Using of calibrating measurement equipment\n\nYour skills and experiences:\n\n * Completed an appropriate trade apprenticeship or naval equivalent qualification\n * Understanding of electrical installation drawings\n * Clear understanding of SHE Risks Awareness\n * Understanding of manufacturing processes\n * Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height\n * Safety certification i.e., SHE Induction, COSHH Awareness, working at height etc\n * Background in Marine, Offshore, Construction or Manufacturing environment highly desirable\n\nBenefits:\n\nYou’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced\nannual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.

You will be providing support to the Royal Navy Warship\nfleet through upgrades, maintenance, and support periods.
