Type – Permanent – Full-time 45hours/week

Salary - £46,500



Overview:



We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Installation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation work in various commercial and industrial settings.



Key Responsibilities:



Good sound electrical knowledge, surge protection installation methods.

Extensive knowledge of single and three-phase installations.

To carry out electrical installations on variety types of LV installations.

To assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks.

To liaise with the Operations Supervisor for planned and routine maintenance programme and reporting procedures.

To work to recognised industry standards at all times.

To maintain records of all work, and that required paperwork is completed and sent in within the defined timescales.

To participate in flexible working hours which may require occasionally staying away from home, weekend work, and travel may be required away from your home area.

To undertake training as required to perform the duties of the role, including health and safety courses and further trade development to maintain current knowledge and professional qualifications (Continued Professional Development).

Ability to act on own initiative.

Qualifications:



A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation

City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.

NVQ Level 3

18th Edition

In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.

Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
