Job Duties and Responsibilities:
An Electrician is responsible for the installation of electrical equipment and systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Electrician
is competent in trouble shooting, testing and solving problems.

You will be responsible for:

• Installation of conduit, wire and other wiring methods to install systems according to blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
• Installing and mounting electrical assemblies, devices and power distribution equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems using proper testing equipment.
• Inspecting areas for safety in order to perform task safely.
• Ability to properly use hand and power tools in a safe way while providing a safe environment.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Train apprentice on daily work/task.
• Qualifications / Skills Sets / Expectations:
• Four (4) years of experience working in the electrical industry.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test pre-employment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable Transportation

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Possess a journeyman's or master’s license.
• Physical Abilities:
• Lift a minimum of 50lb.
• Complete overhead work for a complete day’s assignment.
• Works at various heights up to 90 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
• Bend, stoop, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
• Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
• Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
• Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).
• See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
• Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

Other Abilities:

• Must be willing to attend training as needed to advance skills and promote growth.
• Must consistently report to work on time.
• Must wear all appropriate safety equipment such as; hard hat, gloves and safety glasses at all times while on the job site.
• Must wear Company uniforms.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to work as needed based on project locations. This does include out-of-town work for duration of assignments.
• Must have a valid drivers license, good driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle as needed.
