We are currently seeking Electrical Journeyman and helpers for a small growing shop in Putnam County! We strive to have a great work culture, so that business keeps flowing while also having a great work experience. Our goals at Zold Electric are to provide an excellent service for all our clients. You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers. We are a new company but are very technological involved to meet our needs of today’s customers.

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
• Familiarity with residential construction as follows
  • New construction
  • Renovations
  • Generators
  • Pools
  • Services
  • Control systems
  • LED lighting systems
• Recommended to be familiar with up-to-date NEC code
• Recommended but not required to be Familiar with commercial construction as follows
  • Retail renovation/ new construction
  • Dental/ Healthcare wiring
  • Commercial garages
  • Assembly occupancies
  • Class 1-3 division 1-3 applications
• Perform jobsite reports via CRM program (must know how to use smart phone proficiently for CRM program)
• Must speak Fluent English
• Must be able to coordinate and conversate with customers

​​Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of previous experience in electrical construction
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Fast and efficient with NEC and workman like manner
