Job title- Field Service Support

Location- Florida (Orlando/Central FL, West Palm Beach, FL, Pensacola FL or Leesburg, FL)

Contract – 6 months (possibility of extension)

Pay rate; $18/hr  - $19/hr on W2

• Reimbursement for food while traveling

• Hotel arranged and paid for by company

Details:

Work Schedule: 8-5

• Typically, Monday – Friday (8-hour days) with some occasional Saturdays

• A four-day work week (10-hour days) is possible if field production dictates

• Weekends and some holidays off

We partner with the local electric utility to provide a free service to its customers in selected neighbourhoods throughout Florida. This program relies on the Field Service Technician to install energy efficient products in the customer’s home to help reduce electrical consumption. Technicians will also qualify customers to receive additional free services based on the home's energy efficiency. Contract can be extended up to 24 months.

• Installing energy efficient products in residential homes such as LED bulbs, low flow water aerators and showerheads, hot water tank insulation jackets, pipe insulation, foam sealant, and other measures
• Educating customers about ways they can save money by reducing their electrical consumption
• Accurately reporting installation measures
• Quality reporting to the Field Supervisor
• Documenting safety issues to management
• Safely driving work trucks/box vans to and from the customer’s home and office/hotel
• Participation in neighborhood kickoff events
• 50% travel time throughout Florida (Vehicle provided while traveling)

What we are looking for:
• A background in Sales, Customer Service, Cable/Satellite Installations/sales, HVAC, energy efficiency, construction or related field a plus
• Ability to work with a partner with minimal supervision
• Ability to travel overnight throughout the work week
• Excellent customer service background
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Strong ethics and sense of responsibility
• Safety minded
• Ability to work to a deadline and in fast paced environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass criminal background and drug screening
• Ability to speak Spanish desired but not required
• Production, Safety, and QA bonuses are possible though not guaranteed

• High school or equivalent (Required)

License:
• Driver's License (Required) MVR check required

Work Location:
• On the road 60%
