Electro-Mechanical Fitter\n\nBirmingham \n\nDays Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm Friday 7am-3pm\n\nSalary £35K - £45K PA\n\nMajor Technical are working with their metal processing engineering client in Birmingham West Midlands assisting them with the recruitment of a skilled Electro-Mechanical Fitter, with the ambition to progress their career into the Workshop Manager position in the future.\n\nThe successful Electro-Mechanical Fitter must be able to adapt and be willing to learn all aspects of electromagnets.\n\nThe role will include:\n\nFitting high/low speed rotors\n\nStripping bearings\n\nFitting bearings\n\nBurning\n\nWelding\n\nAlongside building from new and refurbishing old drum magnets.\n\nWorking alone or within a team, you will be adaptable as some site work is required assisting our high voltage and low voltage fitters.\n\nCandidates must be proficient in both Mechanical and Electrical systems and be able to read engineering drawings.\n\nExperience working with\n\nLathes\n\nMilling Machines\n\nDrilling\n\nWelding\n\nBrazing\n\nSoldering\n\nPLC Systems\n\nFabricating is all an advantage.\n\nAn Electrical qualification with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and a Mechanical Engineering qualification is essential along with experience working within Heavy Industries.\n\nSalary £35K to £45K PA depending on skills and experience.\n\nPossibility of bonus and profit share in the future.\n\nHours are Days 7.00 - 16.00 early Friday 15.00 some flexibility with working hours.\n\nBreakfast supplied, friendly environment, potential use of company van.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic organisation which offers its customers over 50 years' experience within their field.
