- Provides mechanical and electrical skills in support of routine & preventive maintenance.
- Supports the shift maintenance team in problem solving & troubleshooting efforts.
- Acts as a problem solving & continuous improvement resource for PLC programming, variable speed drives, electrical & pneumatic controls, mechanical systems, etc. Troubleshoots & repairs production machine equipment and systems.
- Provides input to preventive & predictive maintenance efforts to improve overall equipment reliability.
- Effectively maintains maintenance laptop programs & files.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain Cognex vision system.
- Effectively make electrical connection for most electrical devices
- Successfully transfers electronic files from laptop to motor drives, Fanuc robotics, PLC and/or HMI.
- Effectively troubleshoot industrial equipment utilizing laptop viewing PLC ladder logic
- Capable of interpreting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, & mechanical schematics for troubleshooting
- Effectively troubleshoot all industrial systems, such as electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, & mechanical
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in EHS and/or quality control .
- Ability to work all shifts and perform overtime.
- Future training and/or education may be necessary to further job skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and PowerPoint presentations. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Broad experience with most or all of the following required: electrical & mechanical systems, PLCs, pneumatic conveying systems & controls, HVAC, air compressors, profile extrusion, assembly equipment, film unwinds, & injection molding.
- Five (5) years of Industrial Maintenance experience .
- Certificate in Industrial Maintenance or Military equivalent.
- AAS in Electronics or equivalent .
- PLC programming experience is a plus.
- Experience with a computerized Maintenance Management system, such as MP2, would be beneficial.
