Job Description Working in O&M Management The ‘O&M Technology & Process unit defines technical design and operating requirements and provides expert support to Statkraft assets to ensure optimization of operations and maintenance of our assets. The unit has a key role to lead and develop state-of the art technical solutions and safeguard critical functions, with focus on lifetime asset perspective, group synergies and cost effectiveness for Statkraft as a whole. The unit has a group-wide responsibility to define technical requirements, processes and guidelines on how to conduct O&M in Statkraft and to review the implementation of these. As an electro technical engineer in our department, you will be in a key position to develop your competence primarily within power transformers and high voltage equipment, but other equipment as power converters will also be relevant. Through training and project participation you will develop extensive knowledge about the interfaces related to power transformers and high voltage equipment. In the position’s initial phase, focus will be on a combination of technical tasks and on-the-job training, but the ambition for the holder of the position is within 1 – 2 years to participate and take on increasing responsibility within: Ensuring efficient technical steering within power transformers and high voltage equipment across hydro-, solar and wind power assets. Developing principles and methods for extended condition assessments and monitoring and participate in condition assessments with regional O&M teams. Supporting regional teams in operation and maintenance of assets. Project support to rehabilitation and greenfield/brownfield projects. Initiate, manage and implement R&D activities and projects. Qualifications About you: We look for a dedicated engineer with interest in high voltage and electro technical equipment with some of the following abilities: Electro technical engineer MSc/BSc, preferably with relevant experience from power company, transmission company, consultant or manufacturing industry. Good ability to combine ICT-competence and electro-technical knowledge. Motivated by solving technical challenges in teams Excellent communication skills in one of the Scandinavian languages and English, both orally and in writing. Working proficiency in Spanish is an advantage. As Statkraft owns and/or operates assets in the Nordics, Europe and South America, flexibility to travel for shorter periods in these geographies is required. Holding a driver’s licence is required. Statkraft manages critical infrastructure and services in several countries. The applicant must be eligible for security clearance and authorisation.
