DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required:
- Responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and handling equipment repairs
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics (including mechanical, electrical, network and fluidic) and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Detect faulty operations, and defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Follow and comply with all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Execute job orders regarding the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations
- Provide technical expertise to develop, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment and devices
- Work with vendors on new equipment installation and utilize vendor resources for training
- Maintain a neat and organized work area, including proper cataloging and sorting of parts and tools
- Provide daily shift reports detailing all activities and parts consumed
- Responsible for any facility work as needed.
Experience:
- Must have experience with electrical and PLC controls, mechanical systems, pneumatics
Qualifications:
- Electromechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, services and event logs
- Ability to work within moderately complex controller software and interpret application logs to assist in troubleshooting
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with various team members
- Must be at least 18 years of
- Commitment to fulfill scheduled hours to accomplish assigned duties and tasks
- Ability to obtain a passport to travel internationally if required for training
- Ability to pass necessary background checks required to work within a secure manufacturing environment
