Electronics Engineer – £40,000 - £75,000 pa - Cambridge A leading and rapidly growing consultancy specialising in the Defence & Security sector are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join their R&D team working on research, prototyping and design for top of the range James Bond style devices for various clients across the UK and Europe. Responsibilities: Liaise with clients & stakeholders to take project requirements & present projects Work on full product life cycle from concept to release Analysis and prototype design for a wide variety of electronics products using different skills and technologies for a wide range of clients in the Defence & Security sector Key Skills/Experience: Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline Good analytical and problem solving ability Great theoretical knowledge of various electronics hardware design technologies including: High-speed digital electronics design FPGA Firmware (VHDL/Verilog) Power Electronics Analogue Electronics RF design & Antennas Algorithm design and development PCB design & Layout Benefits: 12% Employer pension contribution Private medical insurance On site cafeteria Group social and sports clubs Group discounts for sports & leisure facilities If you are interested in the position and think you have the skills required as an Electronics Engineer, please don’t hesitate to apply.
