Electronic Hardware Engineer

We are seeking two Senior Hardware Design Engineers to work at our client site in Rochester.



We need team players who can use their initiative and passion for electronic engineering to realise the design of a backplane following all applicable client processes taking in work completed for concept and requirements capture to deliver a design suitable for manufacture.



Build on requirements capture, concept design and prototype construction work to deliver detail design and implementation of the product backplane hardware module.

Work will be carried out in accordance with a tailored version of client work instruction, which in turn references DO-254.

Candidate will work to all relevant Codes of Practice (CoP), Hardware Development Plan (HDP), Plan for Hardware Aspects of Certification (P-HAC)

This work package will deliver the detail design, correlating to a tailored version of stages 3 and 4 of client design process and will provide schematics and associated documentation for transfer to manufacture.



BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

A lower-level qualification such as HNC would be acceptable with significant demonstrable relevant experience performing the same/similar work
